Merryn began taking photographs while working at Bluegreen Pictures in Bristol. Since then, she has developed her portfolio to focus mainly on landscape and wedding photography.

Merryn is now based at Cardiff University, carrying out interdisciplinary research that focuses on public perceptions of environmental risks. For her PhD, she used a mixed-methods, mental-models approach to explore public and expert perceptions of sea-level change on the Severn Estuary. She is currently working on a project that uses qualitative methods to explore public perceptions of shale gas development in the UK and USA. For more information, click here.
